The blockbuster London musical The Book of Mormon has become hugely popular amongst the masses and critics as well. The show has come directly from a sell out season on Broadway and broken several box office records. The show is the winner of 9 prestigious Tony awards such as Best Musical, Best Book, Best Score and Best Director.

The show, The Book of Mormon is penned by Trey Parker and Matt Stone accompanied with Robert Lopez, the creative team of long running comedy show, South Park, whereas the latter was the co-creator of cheeky hit-musical Avenue Q. This brand new musical is often considered original, witty and shocking as well.

In the year 2010, the show made its opening at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre on Broadway. The musical went on becoming a huge success and earned rave reviews from media across the globe. It also had a sparkling and sensational sell out US National Tour.

The story of the super-duper blockbuster The Book of Mormon is set in the Salt Lake City and revolves around two Mormon Elders who have been sent to Uganda for some missionary duties. On their arrival in a small African village, they have to face huge hostility which led to challenging their own beliefs. The rib-tickling funny musical comedy is a brilliant combination of heart touching music, outstanding choreography and spectacular production.

The role of Elder Price and Elder Cunningham is beautifully portrayed by Gavin Creel and Jared Gertner. They are well accompanied by a brilliant ensemble of Alexa Khadime as Nabulungi. Under the superb direction of Casey Nicholaw and Trey Parker and musical composition by Stephen Oremus, the show is a complete treat to watch out for.
